Wildcats Visit Local School for Annual Reading with the Wildcats
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. –The Pennsylvania College of Technology Student-Athlete Advisory Council participated in the Reading with the Wildcats at Sheridan Elementary School on Thursday. This is the fifth year the Wildcats have participated in the program that is part of the Read Across America Observance. Celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday, which is on Saturday, Mar. 2, 11 student-athletes and two Athletics Department representatives traveled to the school, part of the Williamsport Area School District. The group performed "Hunches in Bunches" by Seuss and then individually read stories to classrooms to promote reading.
Students participating in the event were: Eileen Harrington, cross country; Cora Bova, Britni Fennell, Stephanie Keifrider and Lacy Lose, softball; Cody Buterbaugh, Zachary Buterbaugh, Kyle Eck, Rantz Mahaffey, Jeremy Rall and Craig Watson, baseball.
