Beaver junior Blaise McCarty has been named this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for baseball as a hitter. McCarty hit .588 (10-of-17) in a string of five games with a pair of doubles, a homerun and six RBIs. THe junior hammered ten runs with three walks while holding down an on-base percentage of .650.

In the field, Blaise tallied a pair of putouts with five assists for the Lions defense.
