Brandywine sophomore Alyssa Abbonizio has been named this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for women's soccer as a goalkeeper. In a pair of contests that ended with a 2-0 week, Brandywine took a 1-0 shutout victory from Penn State Schuylkill as well as a 3-1 triumph over Penn State Greater Allegheny. With the win over Schuylkill, Abbonizio was at the helm of the first ever shutout victory in program history. Through the 3-1 win over Greater Allegheny, Abbonizio logged a 70 minute game and held GA to zero before she was relieved for the final twenty minutes. Posting seven saves, Abbonizio did not let up a single goal through two games with a save percentage of 100%
