PSUAC Set to Host 2026 Baseball & Softball Championships May 1-3 in DuBois, Pa.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State University Athletic Conference will host its 2026 Baseball and Softball Championship tournaments beginning Friday, May 1st in DuBois, Pa. The three-day events will culminate on Sunday, May 3rd with our championship games.
Both tournaments will feature the same format, as all first round and quarterfinal games will be single elimination affairs on Friday. Once each tournament is down to four teams on Saturday, a double-elimination bracket will begin.
Penn State New Kensington earned the top seed in softball and will receive a bye into the double-elimination bracket. Penn State Schuylkill will face Penn State Fayette at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, with Penn State Mont Alto taking on Penn State Scranton at 3:00 p.m. the same day. To close out Friday's games, Penn State Beaver will take on Penn State DuBois with a right to face New Kensington on Saturday.
In baseball, Penn State DuBois and Penn State Mont Alto are the number one seeds of their respective divisions. Each will receive a bye into the quarterfinals, as well Penn State Greater Allegheny, Penn State Shenango and Penn State York. The first round elimination games will feature Penn State Hazleton against Penn State New Kensington on Friday, along with Penn State Schuylkill versus Penn State Beaver. The final first round match-up will see Penn State Scranton face Penn State Fayette.
Softball will be played at Heindl Field in DuBois City Park, while baseball will be split between Stern Field, also located in City Park, and Showers Field.
