Unplug and Engage event held for Lehigh Valley high school students

Pennsylvania National Guard Association names Mont Alto Campus 'Guard Friendly'

Penn State Mont Alto was recognized as a ?Guard Friendly School? by the Pennsylvania National Guard Associations during its annual conference on Nov. 8 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The University is one of 30 inaugural winners selected from more than 480 schools that receive Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Program Funds and the only college recognized in Franklin County.

Schuylkill professor’s poetry translations connect people across time and space

Charles Cantalupo, distinguished professor of English, African studies and comparative literature at Penn State Schuylkill, has translated a multitude of poems from African languages to English. Recently, his translations have been used to translate African-language poetry into even more languages, amplifying voices that have been censored by colonization and war.

Penn State Shenango to host Nurse Practitioner Open House in December

Penn State Shenango will hold a Nurse Practitioner Open House from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, in the Lecture Hall Gallery, located on Shenango Avenue in Sharon, Pennsylvania. Penn State Shenango faculty explore the 'cutting-EDGE' of teaching

While most faculty spend their summer completing research, teaching summer classes, or preparing for the fall semester, Penn State Shenango Assistant Teaching Professor of Nursing Maureen Dunn spent part of her summer abroad, networking with faculty from Lille Catholic University in France and at The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. Dunn?s trip was in collaboration with Penn State?s Experiential Digital Global Engagement (EDGE) program.

Shenango to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Month with two presentations

Penn State Shenango will hold two events in November in recognition of Global Entrepreneurship Month. Matt Caputo, assistant teaching professor of engineering, will present ?The Re-design of the OneCar, a Multi-Disciplinary Approach? at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 14. The second presentation, ?Opportunity and Reward: Bridging the Gap between Engineering & Ecology,? will be given by Dan Wallace and Brian Pancher of the WallacePancher Group at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 21. Penn State Scranton wins regional award for recent renovations

Penn State Scranton took home a Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce 2019 SAGE Award for the interior renovations recently completed on the first floor of Dawson. The campus was one of three finalists in the Interior Renovations category. Other finalists were Tobyhanna Army Depot and The Wright Center for Community Health.

Piscataway Nation Singers & Dancers to Perform Nov. 12
