12/03/13 - Women's Basketball Win Conference Opener
The Penn State Wilkes-Barre Women's Basketball team won their PSUAC conference opener on Tuesday night, defeating Penn State Worthington Scranton by the score of 59-54. Wilkes-Barre's record moved to 3-6 overall and 1-0 in PSUAC. Junior Tiaira Brathwaite finished the night with a double-double, scoring 17 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Freshman Katelyn McLaughlin added 16 points, while Sophomore Jalicia Robinson also added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals. Penn State Wilkes-Barre will next play on Friday at home against Penn State DuBois at 6 pm.
