2013 PSUAC Volleyball Championship Match is Set!

On Friday night, four PSUAC schools traveled to University Park with the same goal: Making it to the PSUAC Championship on Sunday.  Only two teams will move on to fight for the trophy.

In game one at Rec Hall, #2 Penn State Brandywine and #3 Mont Alto took the court.    Brandywine took to the win, 3-1 and made history.  It is the first time that the Brandywine volleyball team has ever made the PSUAC Championship.

Brandywine will take on #1 Penn State Fayette who was able to win game two against #4 Penn College, 3-0.

Fayette's Head Coach Nancy Wheeler said about starting slow, "Our killer instinct finally kicked in and we went from there."

"In game three our severing got much better. We were on point and that was a big key."

All four teams played tough, hard games and represented the PSUAC very well.

"We played hard and made some great plays. I'm proud of the girls for never giving up and fighting all the way until match point. Fayette is a very talented well rounded team who simply out played us today." Penn College Head coach Monica Brown.

Penn State Brandywine and Penn State Fayette will take the court in Rec Hall on Sunday, October 27th at 12:00 PM.  Make sure to be there to cheer on your Penn State schools!
